We're 6 Months in!

It's our half birthday!

This week, we're celebrating a whole 6 months of being open. Wow, time flies - we can't believe how quickly it's gone by! 

This 6 months has been great! We love you for all your support, your creativity and can't thank you enough. Without you, we can't survive.

Over the last 6 months, we've grown our shop to bring you a greater offering of haberdashery supplies and fabric, we've started running more workshops and socials and we've befriended all of you! But there's lots more to come and we still have lots of growing to do. From April, we'll be introducing some new things and making a few changes...

Firstly opening hours... we're going to start opening Mondays! With new hours in the week too, we'll be open Mon-Fri 8.30-17.30, Sat 9.30-17.30 and Sun 11.00-17.00.

Next, we'll be introducing our Artist Takeover. Each month we'll be changing the wall in our cafe to showcase a local artist's work. These will be a mix of prints and original art pieces and often available to buy. We're taking submissions at the moment, if you're interested in showcasing your work. April will see the wonderful North and Fauna display her work with us.

Even more WORKSHOPS, we run quite a lot at the moment, however we want to bring you even more! With different crafts and other skills, we'll have spice mixing and screen-printing as well as the usual sewing and yarn craft ones. We're also looking at bringing a couple of family friendly ones, perfect if you have little ones you need to entertain over the school holidays.

We love to bring you cakes and nibbles from wonderful independents, however since opening we've noticed one of the unfortunate side effects is the amount of food waste which we go through. In the hope of trying to prevent that we're offering a massive 30% off cakes to take out if you're in during the last hour of the day. We also have plans for a big Summer Party, but watch this space for more details on that.
